Hey everyone! Welcome back to another video. This is Day 7 of Learning UI/UX Designing in 2024.

I skipped Classes 6, 7, and 8 since I had already covered those topics in the "UI/UX Design | Complete Trainings | Urdu/Hindi" playlist. So, I continued with Class 9, which is all about mastering vector shapes in Figma.

This was the part I had been waiting for! Until now, it felt mostly theoretical, and I was starting to feel a bit bored. But this video reignited my spark and interest.

First, I learned how to create a Figma file and the difference between a Figma file and a FigJam file. Essentially, FigJam files are used for planning and brainstorming, while Figma files are where we do the actual designing. We simply click on "New Design," and Figma opens a new file in a new tab.

In this class, we named the file "Shapes" since we were going to learn about vector shapes. There are two types of graphics: raster and vector. Raster graphics are like images or pixels, while vector graphics are shapes created using lines and points. We also learned about geometric and organic shapes.

I learned how to create, size, cut, expand, add padding, apply colors, fill, stroke, gradients, and much more. Additionally, I learned how to use the pen tool and edit shapes. It was really a nice experience learning these things. I already knew some of them, but getting a deep dive into it was an amazing experience.

That's all for today! Stay tuned and see you on Day 8!
